Citrate-anticoagulated human whole blood was diluted 1:10 in HEPES-Tyrodes-BSA containing Alexa Fluor 647 anti-human CD41/CD61 (PAC-1) with or without 10 µg/mL CRP-XL (platelet agonist). Agonist-stimulated platelets show higher binding of Alexa Fluor 647 anti-human CD41/CD61 (PAC-1), as expected.
Bright signal allows good resolution of activated platelets.
