Gene manipulation in cell culture studies requires an efficient transfection reagent for transfecting the target cell. But the transfecting the non-dividing cell or primer cell is challenging for ordinary transfecting reagents. Lipofectamin ltx reagent provides an efficient solution to transfect non dividing or tough cell lines.

Start with at least 8 microgram of plasmid DNA for 6 well plate.
We were able to a get more than 80 % transfection efficiency when we used 8 microgram of DNA for transfection.
Less toxic to the cells
Costly
if you are looking for a good transfecting reagent for hard to transfect cells/ primary cells i would defiantly prefer this reagent for your work flow
