We are using the CD3 antibody to characterize the immune cells populations in the mouse intestine during chronic inflammation. This antibody is a poor option to identify T cells, although it can by improved by using an anti-TCRb antibody.
Flow Cytometry
Lamina propia cells from normal mice
Dilution: 1:100 Time: 20 min. Temp: 4C
1% BSA supplemented with 4% of mouse serum
None
Lamina propia cells were analysed by flow citometry using a FACSCanto II (BD).
Lamina propia T cells were identified as CD45+ CD3+ cells.
It didn't interfered with the other markers from my FACS panel.
It is not as bright as I would like.
This antibody is not the perfect choice to detect T cells in the small intestine.
