Lambda 10-3 - Optical Filter Changer

Catalog Number:

Lambda 10-3

TIRF microscopy was performed using an Olympus IX81 motorized inverted microscope with 60×/1.45 oilimmersion objective and Lambda 10–3 filter wheel containing 480/40, 540/30, and 575lp emission filters. CFP, YFP, and mCherry were excited by 445-, 514-, and 561-nm lasers, respectively, via cell^TIRF Control 1.3 software. Cell images were collected every 5 s using an ORCA-Flash4.0 camera and MetaMorph software.

Summary

The Good

Easy and precise change in filter position.

The Bad

Not suitable for taking multiple images simutaneously, but the fast switching time between filters works well.

The Bottom Line

Lambda 10-3 is suitable for automated and precise change in filters for sequential, multi-wavelength image acquisition.
