Tbr1 is a specific nuclear marker for layer V/VI neurons in Mouse brain neocortex. It is often used as a marker to determine whether the early born neurons (layer V/VI) have proper layering during embryonic neocortex formation and neuronal development.
Antigen retrieval in 10mM Sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) may be performed for improved staining.
Easy to use.
Some cross reactivity to the blood vessels may be seen, needs to be optimized by the user
Expensive, however good and specific signal-recommended
