Great Sample Buffer for SDS-PAGE

Cells were lysed to release the cell contents. The proteins were purified and then quantified by Bradford’s method. Proteins samples were mixed with the equal volumes of sample buffer and were loaded in the wells of the gel in SDS-PAGE setup. 10 micrograms of proteins were loaded in each well and electrophoresis was conducted till the sample dye reaches the bottom of the gel. The gel was removed from the plates and stained and then destained to observe protein bands.
