This green fluorescent dye gives a signal when it goes to an acidic lumen of the lysosome. It works quite well in my hands.

I add 1 micro molar concentration of the dye 30 minutes before the live cell imaging.
This probe works well to stain highly acidic lysosomes in live cells. It gives a strong green fluorescent signal only when it goes to an acidic compartment of the cell.
