I purchased this to probe small proteins (< 20 kDa) using immunoblotting. However, personally, I could not see the improvement when compared with 0.45 micron membrane side by side.

This membrane is thicker than 0.45 micron membrane. Wet them with MeOH before use.
Although I purchased this to probe small molecular weight proteins, now I use 0.45 micron membrane instead of this, as there was no advantage in using this 0.2 micron membrane.

No dramatic improvement in probing small proteins.
I would try this with a small samples, and if the trial works, then I'd order a whole box of the membrane.
