Normally I use in-house made coomassie staining solution for SDS-PAGE gel staining. However, when it comes to publication-quality data, I use InstantBlue, which gives much nicer results.

I am very happy with this product. You will find much more crisp and pretty bands than the in-house made coomassie staining.
