We use this kit specifically to purify bacmid which is much larger than typical plasmid and used for making baculovirus in insect cells.

I use at least 12 mL bacteria culture to get enough bacmid
It worked fine, the bacmid yield is usually not very high, but the transfection into insect cells and virus production usually worked well.
