As part of testing multiple assay systems to define ATN values for CSF samples in our laboratory, we tested the EuroImmun Human Beta-Amyloid (1-42) ELISA Kit. We found the kit to be easy to use and the results robust and reproducible.

When using this kit for large studies in our lab we find within sample CV of 2.2% and a plate to plate CV of 1.2% for our standard samples. No samples we have tested have had values outside the assay range. Please note that these values come from a previous iteration of the kit before the AB42 global standard was incorporated to the assay.
