We tested the EUROIMMUN human Total Tau assay as part of testing multiple platforms for ATN quantification across the large sample sets we use in the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. We were very impressed with the assay robustness between technical replicates and from plate to plate.

We have used both the Analyzer I and hand preparation for this kit and get excellent results with both

Results Summary

The mean CV for technical replicates on the same plate was 2.2%. The between plate CV for repeat control samples was 1.8 %. Correlation with Athena Admark total Tau assay was 0.99.
