With this experiment I was hoping to determine an optional dilution to use this antibody at where I would get no background but still a nice signal. But I don't want too bright of a signal for compensation reasons. 1:200 seemed to be a good dilution.

Results Summary

This antibody binds really nicely. I would use it at 1:200, but you could probably dilute it more than that if your target expresses a lot of B7H4 (for example, the binding is detectable on these transfected 293FS even at 1:700)It has some nonspecific binding if you use it at 1:50 or greater, so I just make sure to dilute it more than that.

Summary

The Good

Nice strong signal

The Bad

Some nonspecific binding if used too concentrated

The Bottom Line

Good antibody that binds muB7H4 nicely even when used at fairly dilute concentrations.
