CD152 is a protein receptor that functions as an immune checkpoint and down regulates immune responses. CD8+ T lymphocytes are a major source of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Interestingly, they express CD152 on their surface to a much greater extent than CD4+ T cells. We checked here RAW264.7 cells infected with mycobacterium using flow cytometry.
