Mouse cells from control and treated samples were assessed for oxidative stress-induced peroxidation. For this, 50 micL of cell lysate was mixed with Amplex™ Red Hydrogen Peroxide/Peroxidase assay reaction mixture and start the reaction by adding KRPG buffer. After a unit time, the reaction was stopped and generated fluorescence due to peroxide/peroxidase activity was measured at 590 nm wavelength in a spectrofluorometer. The generated values were further compared with the standard plot.
