Our T cell lab assesses T cell function based on cytokine expression such as IFNg, Granzyme B, IL-2 and TNFa (alpha). These cytokines can be detected using intracellular staining upon stimulation with flow cytometry. We use this antibody to detect intracellular expression of TNFa in activated T cells.

We readily detect nice intracellular TNFa expression in CD8+ T cells. These cells also expressed IFNg as well.
