Anti-Human SULF1 antibody tested against wild-type and SULF1-KO fibroblasts.KO was confirmed through PCR and sequencing, but antibody picked up bands in the KO cells, around the predicted molecular weight. This indicates the antibody is binding to something other than SULF1.

20 micrograms of HS27A cell lysate from wild-type and SULF1-KO cells were loaded in biological duplicates, each with technical duplicates.A band around 75 kDa was observed in all samples - curiously, this band is at the predicted molecular weight informed by the manufacturer, but it did not go away in cells that had SULF1-Knocked out.KO was confirmed through PCR and sequencing.
