I have searched for an anti-mouse CD34 antibody that accurately detects CD34 surface expression on hematopoietic stem cells for flow cytometric analysis and cell sorting (FACS). I am delighted to report that this antibody works well for identifying the stem cell population based on CD34 negativity.

Results Summary

Using flow cytometry, we gated for the bone marrow for Lineage negative, c-Kit+, Sca-1+ hematopoietic stem cells. This population is shown on the plot below, which we show CD34 expression. The CD34 negative fraction of cells was isolated for downstream applications.
