I work on selective forms of autophagy, especially focusing on ribophagy and ER-phagy. I have used large numbers of antibodies for proteins related to autophagy. This LC3B antibody was very sensitive and specific. LC3A was not probed by this one.
Western Blot
293T cells, over 30ug loading per well
1:1000 dilution in 5% BSA, TBST. overnight
5% non-fat milk in TBST
1:20000 of IRdye700 (mouse)
TBST, 5min, 3 times
Odyssey Clx
This antibody worked better than the CST one that I used first. Some cells have lower abundance of LC3B. This antibody works for those cells.

This antibody works well for cells with low LC3B expression level.
