We study mammary gland tumorigenesis in the PyMT mouse model. Before visualizing endothelial cells in tumors, we tested this polyclonal rabbit a-CD31 antibody in small intestine as a positive control, with very good results.
Immunofluorescence
PLP fixed mouse (C57BL/6) small intestine cryosections
1 in 200 for 3 hr at room temperature
1% BSA, 1% FCS, 0.3% Triton X, 2% mouse serum, 2% rat serum, 2% goat serum
Goat anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor 647 (Thermofisher, A-21245) 1:500
Images were acquired using an inverted Zeiss LSM880 confocal microscope with an 20x 0.8NA air objective.
20um cryosections were stained with anti-CD31 (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Nice staining of blood vessels.
