Product Name:

DCFDA / H2DCFDA Cellular ROS Assay Kit

Catalog Number:

ab113851

Primary murine microglia cells were incubated for 45min with 20µM DCFDA, then treated for the indicated time points with 1µM LPA in the presence or absence of an LPAR5 inhibitor. The fluorescence intensity was measured using a Wallac Victor 1420 Multilabel Counter.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Assay kit

Starting Material

Primary murine microglia

Tips

The concentration of DCFDA that will be used is based on the type of cells and should be optimized.

Results Summary

LPA treated microglia cells had increased levels of ROS. Inhibition of LPAR5 using a specific inhibitor (TCLPA5 4) significantly decreased this LPA induced ROS production.
