For the purposes of our studies, primary murine microglia were treated with lysophospatidic acid (LPA) 1µM in the presence or absence of a PKD family inhibitor (CRT; 1µM). Differences in levels of various pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines were analyzed using ELISA kits.

Since you need to coat the plates yourself, extra attention should be paid to minimize errors.
We observed increased levels of TNFa after 24h treatment with LPA. The PKD family inhibitor (red bars) abrogated this elevated expression.

Since it's not a pre-coated ELISA, the experimental procedure takes a bit longer.
