This kit was used to estimate IL6 production by mouse microglia cells. Primary microglia cells were isolated from adult mouse brain and stimulated with LPS. Cell culture medium were collected after 8 h to determine IL6 levels using this ELISA kit.

LPS stimulation significantly increased IL6 production in microglia cells. Standard curve using various known conc. of IL6 resulted in a linear curve. The sample values were extrapolated using this graph.
