GRP 78 are unresponsive to stress and are induced by glucose deprivation. It acts as molecular chaperones facilitating the assembly of multi-protein complexes, participate in the translocation of polypeptides across cell membranes and to the nucleus.I need to examine the role of GRP78 under stress condion. I found this antibody is easy to optimize and gives very clear and crisp band of 78 kDa. This antibody can be used for wide variety of samples such as H M R Mk. I have used this antibody for samples of mice origin.
Western Blot
Mouse lung tissue and cells
Anti rat-GRP78 (1:250 dilution), Overnight at 4 degree
Odyssey blocking buffer (1:1) ratio with 1X PBS buffer
Goat anti-Rat IgG, LICOR (1:2000 dilution) at RT for 1hr
