Mouse Prolactin ELISA kit

Catalog Number:

ELM-Prolactin

Experimental goal was to validate RayBio mouse PRL ELISA kit for subsequent use in the laboratory. Samples were previously assayed using ABCAM mouse PRL kit (ab214572) to examine potential effect of heparin in intravenous flush solution on the detection of kappa agonist U50,488H induced PRL release.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Quantification of sera prolactin

Starting Material

Tips

Item label letter can be confusing. When setting up kit contents notated on lids to reduce potential error. For first time using kit, be sure to read all of instructions and calculate reagent preparation prior to beginning.

Results Summary

Findings were well within CV% from previous Abcam kit. No effect of heparinized catheter flush was observed for either basal or U50,488H evoked prolactin levels.
