As a T cell lab, we routinely assess effector function based on cytokine expression such as TNFa (alpha). TNF along with IFNg are routinely measure through flow cytometer. We used this antibody to detect intracellular expression of TNFa in activated CD8+ T cells.

We easily detected robust intracellular TNFa expression in CD8 T cells. Furthermore, as expected, TNFa expressing T cells also expressed IFNg which makes this antibody very reliable.
