Product Name:

Purified anti-Tubulin β-3 (TUBB3) Antibody

Catalog Number:

802001

We used the TUBB3 antibody to stain for enteric neurons in a primary mouse ENS culture to visualize the number of neurons and their fibers.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Immunofluorescence

Sample

Mouse primary enteric neuron culture

Primary Incubation

1:2000, O/N incubation at 4C

Blocking Agent

4% Donkey serum in 0.5% Triton X-100/PBS

Secondary Incubation

Donkey anti-rabbit Alexa 488 (Thermofisher 1:1000), incubated for 2h at 4C

Tertiary Incubation

Mounted using Citifluor

Detection

Epifluorescence

Results Summary

The TUBB3 antibody nicely stained the neuronal cell bodies and also the fibers. We could confirm that enteric neurons were present in our culture.

Summary

The Good

Also works when 1:2000 diluted, therefore not very expensive

The Bad

None, works perfectly

The Bottom Line

Good product that can be used at high dilutions, works perfectly for immunofluorescence on cell cultures.
