Our lab is interested in studying the role of inflammatory kinases as a therapeutic target. We perform ELISA and western blot assays to determine the role and pro-inflammatory status of macrophages in response to pharmacological inhibition of these kinases. Cells treated with the TAK1 inhibitor followed by TNF stimulation showed increased cell death over vehicle treated. TNF worked on the TNFR1 receptor and induced down street target effects.

Cells were serum starved overnight followed by TNF treatment at varying concentrations. Cell death was recorded.
Do not freeze thaw
Works well, store aliquots to avoid freeze thaw. Gave expected EC50 as per manufacturing protocol.
