The CD56 antigen is expressed on approximately 10% to 25% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is present on essentially all resting and activated CD16+ natural killer (NK) lymphocytes and approximately 5% of CD3+ peripheral blood lymphocytes, as well as on a fraction of ILC3s, at least in the tonsil, the subset of cells we are interested in.

Bright antibody with high resolution, enables the identification of both CD56bright and CD56dim NK cells. BUV737 has some spill over into other channels such as AF700, as seen in the graph, but it is workable.
