This is a huge capacity chest freezer that I badly wanted to love. It is taller than most of our other chest freezers so you can fit more samples in there with having a smaller footprint. The tragedy of this freezer is that I think I got a dud. Unfortunately, within a year of purchase the compressor went out! I could not believe it! Luckily, it was still under warranty so I was able to get a new compressor installed free of charge. However, it was quite a hassle and I had to get a loaner freezer so I could save the samples that were already stored in the broken down -80. It is my hope I don’t have any more issues with this freezer but I am concerned that if it went under once it might go under again.
