This plate reader is pretty awesome. My assays are reproducible on this machine and it has never given me any grief. It can run plates at different temperatures which I like and it will shake my plate prior to getting the absorbances. I believe this helps make sure my duplicates are super close. Each step for an ELISA has to be just right and I really think this TECAN is instrumental (pun intended) in getting me good data.

Use software to set all of the needed criteria for reading the plate. Put plate in and hit start.

It is a great plate reader. I think I don't utilize the full capabilities of this machine though.
