ASR (analyte specific reagent) antibodies are not always easy to find, let alone when you need them conjugated to a tandem dye. This anti-human CD19 antibody ticks all these boxes! It's very useful to use in complex, multi-color flow panels in which we need to identify B-cells without using one of the channels we typically need for "rare" antibodies that don't come conjugated to tandems. We found this antibody to work really well, although some optimization is required, especially in terms of getting compensation right.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Human blood

Primary Incubation

15 minutes at 4 degrees Celsius

Blocking Agent

2% BSA

Secondary Incubation

Tertiary Incubation

Detection

780/60 bandpass filter (off the blue laser)

Results Summary

Results are quite good, showing good resolution of B cells (CD19+ cells shown in orange) among a fairly heterogeneous PBMC population. We had no problems gating on these cells for further characterization.
