This pipettor is not as reliable as I would like. It seems to give us in the lab more issues than some of our other multichannels. I like that the pipettor does not rely on the thumb to pipette. However, not all of the tips always aspirate equal amounts of liquid despite all of the tips being firmly on and drawing up the liquid slowly. Also, and not all of the tips are easy ejected. I also find the ejector trigger difficult to use. I have also found that the volume settings are not very clear to new students. They often have trouble learning how to accurately set the volume. It is honestly not very intuitive.

The Good

It does not rely on using your thumb to pipette so it gives your hands a break.

The Bad

Not intuitive settings, not reliable volume dispensing

The Bottom Line

There are much better multichannels on the market. This is not one I recommend.
