I have had many –80°C freezers and I have been called into the lab often in the middle of the night due to a malfunctioning freezer. I have owned this freezer for 5 years and I have never had an issue with it.

Can plug into a normal 120 V 60 Hz outlet and has a built-in alarm system that works well. Samples are frozen rapidly and temperature is consistent.
Do not open more than absolutely necessary to limit ice buildup.
