CellROX reagent was used in a flow cytometry assay with EOL-1 cells. Cells were treated with either NAC (negative control), or TBHP (positive control). Both controls came with kit. Following kit instructions, decreased CellROX signal was detected with NAC treatment and increased signal was detected with TBHP treatment. However, the signal did not decrease when cells were pretreated with NAC then TBHP. The assay is easy and the protocol is straightforward.
