I was using a hemocytometer, which was time consuming and I was not able to get an accurate spheroid count. The Auto1000 increased my productivity and allowed me to accurately count spheroids.

The Bad

Would like to be able to count hundreds of particles/mL, so lower concentration counting would be beneficial.

The Bottom Line

If you are looking for an affordable cell counter that can also count larger particles (i.e. spheroids/organoids) the Auto1000 is an excellent option.
