Amazing Teaching-Lab Assistant

I work in an academic teaching lab where we prepare many aliquots of many solutions for many lab courses. We have had the controller for several weeks now and not only has it lightened the work load significantly but has also begun to alleviate the the repetitive stress that a few of the technicians were beginning to feel in their shoulders and wrists. In addition, for those of a certain age whose eyesight isn't quite what it used to be, it is SO nice not to have to peer closely at the pipette lines so frequently. To make sure that it was all we were hoping for, my colleagues and I weighed the aliquots for precision and found it to dispense very consistently. It performs even better than we hoped for since one can quietly make micro-adjustments to the exact volume being measured using only a light touch. The ONLY problem we have found is that we have just one.... We hope to get another very soon!
