Product Name:

Dual-Luciferase Reporter Assay System

Catalog Number:

E1910

This reporter system was used in conjunction with an SRF-RE/firefly luciferase reporter construct to monitor the ability of a pharmaceutical compound to stimulate G12/G13 signalling in the AT1 receptor using A7r5 cells. The kit is easy to use and accurate.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

G12/13 signalling measured by luciferase luminescence.

Starting Material

AT1 receptor-transfected A7r5 cells

Protocol Overview

AT1 receptor-transfected A7r5 cells were additionally transfected with an SRF-re/firefly luciferase constructs and a renilla luciferase construct. After incubation and stimulation with a compound to induce G12/13 signaling, the Dual-Luciferase Reporter Assay System was used according to manufacturer specifications and read on a Mithras LB 940 reader.

Tips

All reagents were prepared fresh

Results Summary

A reproducible dose dependent curve for G12/13 signaling was created using this system.
