Protocol Overview

Adhered A7r5 smooth muscle cells transfected with the AT1 receptor were treated with angiotensin 2 in order to stimulate Gq/11 signaling, then treated with the kit reagents as per kit instruction to measure said signaling before FRET ratios were measured on an Artemis K-101 plate reader.

Tips

We incubated the cells with the kit reagents for one hour.

Results Summary

It was very hard for us to optimize this experiment and the results weren't replicable with these cells.
