This antibody recognize the mono terminal end of the large subunit of calpain 1, and can be used to discriminate between latent and amino-acid processed forms. It reacts with mouse, rat, and human, and can be used in WB and ICC/IF. It does not cross react with the other calpain family members. We can clearly observe the high level of calpain I in the tissues, and specifically localized to certain place. See brown color in image.
