We used this mounting media to mount human neurons. The media works well, and the mounted slides retain fluorescence for more than a year.

After secondary antibody staining is finished, the cells plated on coverslips are inverted on a glass coverslip facing the mounting media. A drop of the mounting media is sufficient for one 12 mm coverslip. Allow it to air dry overnight in the dark at room temperature for it to set.
Slowly place the coverslips on the mounting media to prevent air bubbles
For all the staining we did in our publication, ProLong™ Gold Antifade Mountant with DAPI was used.
