Product Name:

caveolin-1 Antibody (7C8)

Catalog Number:

sc-53564

Caveolae (also known as plasmalemmal vesicles) are 50–100 nM flask-shaped membranes that represent a subcompartment of the plasma membrane. Caveolin-1 (Cav-1), a major structural protein of caveolae located on the surface of the cellular membrane, has been reported to modulate inflammatory responses by binding to CD26 in T cells. This Santa Cruz antibody is one of the best to detect caveolin-1 expression by western blot.
