Our lab studies the mTOR signaling pathway in T cell differentiation with an emphasis on both CD4 and CD8 T cells. We routinely conduct T cell experiments to analyze the differentiation process into subsets or adoptive transfers. In order to obtain purified T cell populations without sorting, we use the Miltenyi isolation kits and magnet to obtain the populations of interest.

Protocol Overview

Use the appropriate isolation kit for population of interest based on given protocol. Prepare the magnet with right column. Place the column into the magnet and wet the column with buffer before proceeding with cell content. Collect flow-through and/or keep the column for positive selection.
