Our lab routinely performs ELISAs on various biological specimens to examine cytokine and other protein levels. The routine use of this technique has led us to use more cost-effective methods of performing this technique to avoid purchasing expensive kits. The use of a reliable wash buffer has helped with throughput while also decreasing background signal in our ELISA assays.
