I use this antibody in a functional assay to determine IFNg production in response to stimulation. In response to IL-12 and IL-18, NK cells will produce IFNg which can be trapped intracellularly with a golgi blocker. The antibody works well in this assay, giving a clear bright signal.

After stimulation with IL-12 and IL-18 in combination with a golgi blocker, cells are harvested and stained for surface markers. Cells are then permeabilized, and stained for IFNg. In this assay the antibody works well and gives a very strong signal.
