Calnexin for Endoplasmic Reticulum Immunofluorescence

My experiment was focused on evaluating the effect of a variant on the localisation of a secreted protein. My hypothesis was that the variant could impair the physiologic protein secretion. I used the anti-calnexin antibody as a marker of ER, to localise the wild-type and mutant protein along the secretory pathway. I used the Calnexin Antibody (AF18) for immunofluorescence on HEK293 cells.
