Great Performance for PCR

We do a lot of PCRs for genotyping at our lab, and we have acquired a new thermal cycler recently. We intended to have a great machine not too expensive. After some search, we concluded that T100™ Thermal Cycler was the best option.The first look at the T100 reveals it is a beautiful, modern and easy to use. It has a giant touchscreen display, making running and editing PCR protocols very easy. The software is very straightforward, and you can import/export your protocols through the USB port. With this machine we can run standard PCRs as well as touchdown and gradient temperatures, making it very usable in different methods. An exciting aspect it allows the user to set the temperature of the lid and ramping, which can make runs faster (~40 min on conventional PCR).Indeed BioRad has been producing several products with reliability and consistency that has drastically outperformed the price range their offered and I am glad to recommend the T100 to several other colleagues who are looking for a great price/quality thermal cycler that’s quite easy on the wallet.
