We've used this antibody to stain astrocytes in organotypic brain cultures to check the possible toxic effects of bilirubin.We selected this antibody because GFAP is a well-known marker of astrocytes and we were interested in an antibody with specificity to obtain a clean image.

Primary Incubation

4.8 ug/mL of antibody for 2 hours at 37°C in blocking solution

Blocking Agent

Blocking solution: 1% normal goat serum + 0.1% triton-X100 in PBS

Secondary Incubation

FITC-Conjugated antibody diluted 1:2000 for 2 hours at room temperature in blocking solution

Results Summary
