We use this antibody to assess IL-15 signaling in mouse NK cells. The antibody works well at the recommended dilution, giving a clear positive signal in stimulated cells.

In the attached image, mouse splenocytes were stimulated for 1 hour with 100ng/mL IL-15 or 10ng/mL TGF-beta. Cells were immediately fixed using BD Fix-Lyse buffer, then stained for surface antigens to detect NK cells. Cells were then permeabilized using BD Perm Buffer III, and stained for pSTAT5. With IL-15 stimulation, NK cells display a strong induction of STAT5 phosphorylation, while TGF-beta has no effect.

The antibody is quite diluted, so you will need to use at a relatively high concentration (1:5 dilution).
