We routinely extract total protein for TMT labeling MS or Western blotting for hESCs or differentiated cells. Having a 1-precise and 2-accurate estimation of extracted protein with various extraction methods is an important step for further downstream applications. The kit is a money saving options for labs with routine protein assays on a regular basis. However, the working range of the assay is limited to 2-0.125 ug/ul which requires most of the samples to be diluted beforehand.It seems that Thiourea interferes with the reaction, leading to saturation.
